Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kagman, head southeast towards the main road. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to Saipan. Turn right at the intersection and continue walking straight. You will pass by local shops and residential areas. As you walk, keep an eye out for the signs indicating direction to Navy Hill. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a bus stop. Here, you can wait for public transport heading towards Navy Hill or continue walking for another 10-15 minutes. If you opt to walk, keep going straight until you reach the entrance of the Navy Hill area. The Japanese Lighthouse is located on top of the hill, and you can follow the trail leading upwards to the lighthouse.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Kagman community area and head towards the main road. Take a left turn onto the main road leading to Saipan. Cycle for about 3 kilometers. You will see signage for Navy Hill. Turn left onto the road leading up to Navy Hill. Continue cycling uphill until you reach the Japanese Lighthouse. This route offers beautiful views along the way, and it should take you approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

• Public Transport

  From Kagman, you can take a public bus heading towards Saipan. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Navy Hill. Once you disembark, you will need to walk uphill towards the lighthouse. Follow the signs that point towards the Japanese Lighthouse. The bus ride should take around 15-20 minutes, and from the bus stop, it will take about 15 minutes on foot to reach the lighthouse.
