Car
From Ladder Beach, head southwest on Ladder Beach Road. Continue on this road for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Middle Road (Route 30). Turn left onto Middle Road and drive for approximately 10 minutes. You will pass through some scenic areas, and keep an eye out for local attractions. Once you reach the intersection with Bird Island Trail, turn right. Follow Bird Island Trail for another 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Bird Island Beach, which is located at the end of the trail. There is no entrance fee for accessing the beach.

Public Transportation
From Ladder Beach, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach Bird Island Beach. If taking the bus, find the nearest bus stop on Ladder Beach Road and board a bus heading towards I Maddok. Inform the driver of your destination, Bird Island Trail. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as buses may not run frequently. Once you arrive at the intersection with Bird Island Trail, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take a local taxi to reach Bird Island Beach. The taxi fare from the bus stop to the beach should be reasonable, typically around $5 to $10.
