Walking
If you are starting from the center of Ålesund, head towards the waterfront along Storgata street. Continue straight until you reach the harbor area, where you will see the beautiful Jugendstil architecture. Take a right onto Skaregata street and follow it to the end, which leads you to the Aksla viewpoint. From here, you can take the staircase up to the Aksla Dam area. The walk offers stunning views of the surrounding islands and the fjords.
