Walking
If you are in the city center of Ålesund, start at the Town Park (Byparken) located at the intersection of Kongens Gate and Storgata. From the park, head east on Kongens Gate. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Parkgata. Turn left onto Parkgata and walk towards the Aksla viewpoint. You will start to see signs directing you towards 'Aksla' as you walk. The path will lead you uphill, where you will find a series of steps and trails that will take you directly to the viewpoint.

From the Ålesund Bus Station, take bus number 1, 2, or 3 towards 'Løvenvold' or 'Sæter'. Get off at the stop 'Aksla', which is the nearest stop to the viewpoint. From the bus stop, walk towards Parkgata, and follow the signs leading you to the viewpoint. The walk from the bus stop is approximately 10 minutes, mostly uphill.
