If you are in the city center of Ålesund, start at the Town Park (Byparken) located at the intersection of Kongens Gate and Storgata. From the park, head east on Kongens Gate. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Parkgata. Turn left onto Parkgata and walk towards the Aksla viewpoint. You will start to see signs directing you towards 'Aksla' as you walk. The path will lead you uphill, where you will find a series of steps and trails that will take you directly to the viewpoint.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Ålesund Bus Station, take bus number 1, 2, or 3 towards 'Løvenvold' or 'Sæter'. Get off at the stop 'Aksla', which is the nearest stop to the viewpoint. From the bus stop, walk towards Parkgata, and follow the signs leading you to the viewpoint. The walk from the bus stop is approximately 10 minutes, mostly uphill.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from any location in Ålesund. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Aksla Viewpoint' or provide the address: Parkgata 11, 6003 Ålesund. The taxi will drop you off at the base of the viewpoint, from where it's a short walk up the steps to reach the viewpoint itself.
