From the center of Ålesund, start at the Town Park (Byparken) which is located near the harbor. Head towards the main road, Kongens Gate, and follow it until you reach the intersection with Aksla. Turn left onto Aksla and continue walking uphill. The path is well-marked and will lead you through a beautiful park area with several viewpoints. Follow the signs towards Fjellstua, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill from the Town Park.
