If you are in the city center of Ålesund, start by walking towards the waterfront. Head south on Storgata street until you reach the junction with Apotekergata. Turn right onto Apotekergata and continue straight until you reach the large roundabout (Rundetårnet). Here, take the first exit onto Borgundvegen. Keep walking straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for Sunnmøre Museum on your left. The museum is located at Museumsvegen 12, 6015 Ålesund.
