Walking
If you are already in Fløyen, begin your journey by heading towards the Fløibanen funicular station, which is easily accessible. From here, take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen. The ride takes about 8 minutes and provides stunning views of Bergen. The ticket price for a round trip is approximately 100 NOK for adults and 50 NOK for children. Once you reach the top station, exit the funicular and follow the signs to the Trollskogen area, which is located to the east of the funicular station. The walk to Trollskogen will take you through beautiful forested paths, and the signage will guide you along the way.

From the top of Mount Fløyen, you can also choose to hike to Trollskogen if you are feeling adventurous. Follow the marked trails leading into the forest. The trail is well-maintained and offers a scenic route through the woodlands. Look for signs indicating the path to Trollskogen; you will traverse a gentle incline and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The hike is approximately 1 kilometer and should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
