Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Bodø harbor, located in the city center. From the harbor, head north along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the scenic views of the fjord. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Nyholmsgata street. Turn left onto Nyholmsgata and walk straight for about 700 meters. You will see signs directing you towards Nyholmen lighthouse. Once you reach the end of the road, you will find yourself at the lighthouse area. The walk should take around 30 minutes, depending on your pace.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the city center, take bus line 6 from the Bodø bus station, located near the harbor. The bus will take you towards Nyholmen. After about a 10-minute ride, disembark at the Nyholmen stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs that point towards the lighthouse, and you will arrive in no time.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the city center. Start at the Bodø harbor and follow the same route as if you were walking.
