Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Drammen. Take E18 towards Oslo and then follow the signs for E134 towards Kongsberg. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Åmot and follow the signs to Koboltveien. Blaafarveværket will be on your right at Koboltveien 11, 3340 Åmot. The total driving distance is about 50 km and will take approximately 50 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
To reach Blaafarveværket by public transport, you can take a train from Drammen to Åmot. Board a train from Drammen Station and travel to Kongsberg. From Kongsberg, transfer to a bus heading to Åmot (check local schedules for the latest bus times). Once you arrive in Åmot, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Blaafarveværket at Koboltveien 11. The entire journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the waiting times between connections.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route from nearby towns, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are available in Drammen and Kongsberg. The fare may vary, but expect to pay around 800 to 1200 NOK from Drammen and about 400 to 600 NOK from Kongsberg. It's a convenient option if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.
