From Flåm, head east on FV 243 towards Lærdal. The drive will take around 30 minutes (approximately 30 km). Follow the signs for Aurlandsfjellet. As you reach Lærdalsøyri, continue on FV 243, and you will find the north entry to the Aurlandsfjellet scenic route. There are no tolls on this route.

To reach Aurlandsfjellet from Flåm using public transport, take the bus from Flåm to Lærdal. The bus departs from the Flåm bus station and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Check the local bus schedule for exact timings. Once you arrive in Lærdal, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the north entry of the Aurlandsfjellet scenic route on FV 243. Ensure you have cash or a credit card for the bus fare, which is approximately 100 NOK.
