Car
From Geilo, head northeast on the Rv7 road towards Hol. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, take the exit onto Fv40 towards Dagali. Continue on Fv40 for about 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Fv37. Turn left onto Fv37 and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Vesleeane as you approach the area. There is free parking available near the hiking area.
Public Transportation
Take the bus from Geilo bus station to Dagali. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Dagali, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along Fv40 to reach the Vesleeane hiking area. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the most accurate times and any potential costs associated with the bus fare.
Walking
If you are already in the central area of Geilo, you can walk to Vesleeane. It will take approximately 1 hour. Start at the Geilo train station and head northwest on the main road (Rv7), then follow the signs leading to Fv40, which you will take to reach Vesleeane. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as the path may include some uneven terrain.
