Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you are traveling by car, start in the center of Geiranger and head towards the Geiranger fjord. From Geiranger, take the E39 road heading north for approximately 1.5 km. Look for a sign indicating 'Natural Shower' and a gravel road on your left. Turn onto this gravel road and drive for about 1 km until you reach the Natural Shower area. There is usually parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the local bus service from Geiranger to Hellesylt. Buses typically run several times a day, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Hellesylt, you will need to either walk back along the E39 for about 2 km towards Geiranger or arrange for a taxi to take you to Natural Shower. The area is not directly accessible by public transport, so walking is necessary for the last part of the journey.
