Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Geiranger. Head towards the main road (Fv63) that goes along the fjord. Look for signs towards 'Skageflå' as you drive. The drive will take you approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Park your car at the designated parking area near the Geiranger fjord ferry terminal (Fjordcruise Geiranger). Note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared for potential costs.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transport, check the local bus schedules as they may vary. From the Geiranger bus station, there are seasonal bus services that operate along the fjord. Take the bus heading towards Hellesylt and inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Skageflå trailhead. The bus ride takes around 20-30 minutes. • Ferry

  Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Geiranger to the Skageflå viewpoint. The ferry service operates during the tourist season and provides a scenic ride across the fjord. Once you disembark, you will need to hike approximately 1 kilometer to reach Skageflå. Check the ferry schedule in advance for departure times and costs.
