Car
From any location in Hafjell, head south on Fåberggvegen (Road 255) towards Fåberg. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto E6 towards Oslo. After approximately 5 km, take exit 84 towards Follebu. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Aulestadvegen. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will find Bjørnstjerne Bjørnsons Aulestad on your right at Aulestadvegen 6-14. There is parking available at the museum.

From Hafjell, take the bus towards Lillehammer. You can catch the bus at the nearest bus stop in Hafjell. Make sure to check the schedule as buses run at specific intervals. Get off at Follebu bus stop. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 2 km walk to Bjørnstjerne Bjørnsons Aulestad. Head south on Follebuvegen, turn right onto Aulestadvegen, and continue straight until you reach the museum. The bus fare will typically range between 50-100 NOK depending on your starting point.
