Car
If you are starting from the town of Odda, take Route 13 heading north. After approximately 12 kilometers, look for signs guiding you to the Hardangervidda National Park entrance. Continue along the scenic route, and you will eventually reach the parking area at the base of Freimsnuten. The journey should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
From Odda, take a local bus towards the Hardangervidda National Park. Buses frequently operate in the summer months. Confirm the schedule as it may vary; you can check at the Odda bus terminal. Get off at the designated stop for Freimsnuten or the nearest point where hiking begins. From there, it is a short hike to the base of Freimsnuten. Be prepared for a 1-2 hour hike depending on your pace.
Hiking
Once you have reached the parking area or the bus stop, begin your hike towards Freimsnuten. Follow marked trails that lead you through the stunning landscape of Hardangervidda.
