If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Hedmark. Head south on the E6 highway towards Lillehammer. Continue on E6 for approximately 45 km until you reach Lillehammer. Once in Lillehammer, take exit 10 towards Maihaugvegen. Follow the signs to Maihaugvegen, and you will see the Norwegian Olympic Museum at Maihaugvegen 1, 2609 Lillehammer. There is parking available near the museum, but note that parking fees may apply.
Bus
To reach the Norwegian Olympic Museum via public transportation, take a bus from Hedmark to Lillehammer. Check the local bus schedule for routes that operate from your location in Hedmark to Lillehammer. Upon arrival at Lillehammer bus station, you can either walk to the museum, which is about 2 km away, or take a local bus that stops near Maihaugvegen. If walking, exit the bus station and head south towards the river, following the signs that direct you to the museum. The walk will take approximately 25 minutes.
Train
For those preferring to take the train, you can board a train from Hedmark to Lillehammer. Once you arrive at Lillehammer train station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located nearby. From there, you can take a local bus or walk to the Norwegian Olympic Museum. If walking, the museum is about 2 km away and will take around 25 minutes. Walk south towards the river and follow the signs to Maihaugvegen 1.
