If you are driving, head towards Route 7 (Riksvei 7). From Bergen, follow Route 580 to the junction with Route 7. Continue on Route 7 towards Norheimsund. As you approach Norheimsund, look for signs directing you to Steinsdalsfossen. Turn onto Mo ved Steinsdalen road, which will lead you directly to the waterfall's parking area. The journey from Bergen takes approximately 1.5 hours.

For public transportation, take a bus from Bergen to Norheimsund. You can catch the bus at the Bergen bus station (Bergen Busstasjon). The bus service is operated by Skyss and runs several times a day. The journey will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Norheimsund, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to Steinsdalsfossen. Follow the signs toward Mo ved Steinsdalen, and you will reach the waterfall.
