From the E6 highway, take the exit towards Fv51, which will lead you directly into the heart of Jotunheimen National Park. Drive along Fv51 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Tessanden. Once in Tessanden, follow local signs directing you to Stuttgongfossen. The waterfall is located about 10 kilometers from the village center. There is ample parking available near the trailhead that leads to the waterfall.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Oslo or other major towns to Otta. From Otta, you can catch a local bus that operates during the summer months towards Tessanden. Be sure to check the local bus schedule ahead of your trip, as services may vary. Once you arrive in Tessanden, you will need to either hike or arrange for a taxi to cover the last 10 kilometers to Stuttgongfossen. The hike offers beautiful scenery and is well-marked, taking approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
