If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Svolvær, the largest town in Lofoten. Head southwest on E10 for approximately 35 km (about 30 minutes). Once you reach the town of Leknes, continue on E10 and follow the signs towards Unstad. After about another 20 km (around 15 minutes), you will arrive in Unstad. Look for the coordinates 7G6W+HM, which is the approximate location of Hanna’s cairn. There is limited parking available near the beach, and from there, you can follow the marked trails leading to the cairn.

If you prefer using public transportation, take a bus from Svolvær to Leknes. The journey takes around 1 hour and buses run several times a day. From Leknes, you will need to take another bus towards Unstad. Be sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary. Once you arrive in Unstad, the bus stop is close to the beach area. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Hanna’s cairn at coordinates 7G6W+HM. The walk from the bus stop to the cairn is approximately 1.5 km and should take about 20-30 minutes.
