Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Leknes. Drive west along E10 towards Uttakleivveien. Follow the signs for Uttakleiv beach. After approximately 10 minutes, take a right onto Uttakleivveien. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Dragon's Eye. There is no parking fee, but be sure to arrive early to secure a spot, especially during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
To reach Dragon's Eye using public transportation, take the bus from Leknes to Uttakleiv. The bus service is operated by Nordland Verkehr. Check the current schedule as it varies seasonally. Once you arrive at the Uttakleiv stop, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Dragon's Eye. Follow the signs towards Uttakleiv beach and then head towards the rocky formations; you will see Dragon's Eye as you approach the coast.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Uttakleiv, you can walk to Dragon's Eye from the beach. From Uttakleiv beach, walk north along the coastline for approximately 10 minutes. The path can be rocky, so wear suitable footwear. You'll soon see the unique rock formation known as Dragon's Eye, located right on the beach.
