Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main town of Leknes. Take the E10 highway heading south towards Å. Continue on the E10 for approximately 35 kilometers (about 30 minutes). As you approach Å, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Viewpoint at Å. You will need to turn onto Unnamed Road, which is well-marked. Drive carefully as the road can be narrow in some sections. There is parking available near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
To reach Viewpoint at Å using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from Leknes to Å. You can check the local bus schedules, as buses typically run several times a day. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Å, the viewpoint is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards the viewpoint. Make sure to check the return bus schedule to plan your trip back.
Walking
If you are already in Å and prefer to walk, you can reach the viewpoint on foot. From the center of Å, head towards Unnamed Road, which is located near the old fishing village. The walk to the viewpoint is about 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes. The path is generally flat but be cautious of any uneven surfaces. Enjoy the stunning views along the way!
