Car
Starting from the town of Leknes, head south on the E10 road towards Ramberg. The drive will take approximately 20 minutes (about 18 kilometers). Follow the signs for Ramberg and continue on E10. Once you reach Ramberg, keep an eye out for the Flakstadøya View Point signs. The viewpoint is located just off the E10, and you can park in designated areas near the viewpoint. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transportation
From Leknes, take the bus (Line 100) towards Å. This bus travels along the E10 route and will take you towards Ramberg. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Disembark at the Ramberg stop. Once you arrive, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the Flakstadøya View Point, which is around 2 kilometers away from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially in the off-season.
Walking/Cycling
If you are staying in Ramberg, you can reach Flakstadøya View Point by walking or cycling. From the center of Ramberg, head east on the E10 road. It is about a 2-kilometer walk or cycle, which should take roughly 30 minutes to an hour. Ensure to walk on designated pedestrian paths where available and be cautious of traffic. This route provides beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
