If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Leknes. Head south on the E10 highway towards Henningsvær. After about 30 km, take the exit towards Henningsvær (Rv 815). Follow this road for approximately 15 km. As you approach Henningsvær, you will see signs for Festvågtind. Park your car at the designated parking area near Henningsværveien 51. From there, it's a short walk to the trailhead for Festvågtind.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Leknes to Henningsvær. The bus service is operated by Lofoten Trafikkselskap, and you can check their schedule online. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Henningsvær, you can either walk or take a taxi to Henningsværveien 51 where the trail begins. The walking distance is roughly 1.5 km from the bus stop to the trailhead.
Hiking
Once at the trailhead near Henningsværveien 51, you can begin your hike up Festvågtind. The hike is relatively moderate, taking about 2-3 hours to reach the summit. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and bring water and snacks for the journey.
