Bus
From Molde, start at the Molde Bus Station (Molde rutebilstasjon). Take Bus Rørosbuss line 100 towards Åndalsnes. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Get off at the Åndalsnes stop. From Åndalsnes, you can walk to the Trollstigen Foothill Viewpoint. Head east on Storgata street, then take a right onto Trollstigen Road. Follow this road until you reach the viewpoint, which is about 10 kilometers away and will take roughly 2 to 3 hours to walk.

Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Molde. Start at the Molde Bike Rental, located near the harbor. Head towards the Molde Bus Station and pick up the same route as the bus. Cycle on the road towards Åndalsnes, following the E136 highway. After about 10 kilometers, turn onto Trollstigen Road. The viewpoint will be accessible after a scenic ride of about 20 kilometers. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.

For adventurous travelers, consider hiking from Åndalsnes to the Trollstigen Foothill Viewpoint. Take the bus from Molde to Åndalsnes, as mentioned earlier. Once in Åndalsnes, take the marked hiking trail that leads up to the viewpoint. This trail offers stunning views and will take approximately 3 to 4 hours to reach the top, depending on your pace. Wear appropriate hiking gear and bring plenty of water and snacks.
