If you're driving in Møre og Romsdal, navigate to the E39 highway. From Ålesund, follow E39 north towards Molde. After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards Midsund (Road 661). Continue on Road 661 for about 15 km until you reach Midsund. There are no tolls along this route.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Midsund via public transport, take a bus from Ålesund. You can catch the bus at the Ålesund bus terminal. Look for the bus route to Molde, which usually runs every hour. After about 1 hour and 20 minutes, get off at the 'Midsund' bus stop. The bus fare is approximately 100 NOK. Be sure to check the schedule in advance, as services may vary.

Ferry and Car
Another scenic route is to take a ferry from Ålesund to Molde. First, drive to the ferry terminal in Ålesund (approximately 15 minutes from the city center). Take the ferry to Molde (about 1 hour). Upon arriving in Molde, continue by car on E39 towards Midsund. Take the exit for Road 661 and follow it for 15 km. The ferry fare is approximately 150 NOK for a car and driver.

If you prefer to take the train, you can take a train from Oslo to Åndalsnes. From Åndalsnes, take a bus to Molde. From Molde, transfer to a bus heading to Midsund.
