If you are driving from the center of Trondheim, head east on Olav Tryggvasons gate towards Brattørkaia. Continue onto E6 for approximately 5 km. Take the exit towards Rv706/Strindheim, and follow the signs for Rv706. After about 2 km, turn left onto Nidelvveien. Follow Nidelvveien until you reach Nidelva utsiktspunkt, which is located near the riverbank. There is free parking available near the viewpoint.
