If you're driving, start from any location in Oppland and head towards Route 7 (Riksvei 7). Follow Route 7 towards Nesbyen. Once you reach Nesbyen, look for Møllevegen, where the Hallingdal Museum is located at number 18. The museum has a parking area available for visitors.

To reach Hallingdal Museum via public transportation, take a train or bus to Nesbyen. If you're coming from Oslo or Bergen, you can take a train to Gol and then transfer to a local bus to Nesbyen. Once you arrive at the Nesbyen bus station, it's a short 10-minute walk to the museum. Head southeast on Møllevegen, and the museum will be on your left at Møllevegen 18. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for any fees associated with travel.
