Car
If you are driving from the city of Lillehammer, start by heading northwest on E6 towards Fåberg. Continue on E6 for about 24 km. Take the exit towards Route 255 (Sør-Aurdal) and continue on this road for approximately 20 km until you reach Espedalen. Follow Espedalsvegen for about 5 km until you arrive at Helvete Potholes, located at Espedalsvegen 656, 2658 Espedalen. There is a small parking area nearby.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Lillehammer to Fåberg. From Fåberg, transfer to a local bus heading towards Espedalen. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop in Espedalen, it’s about a 1 km walk to Helvete Potholes, located at Espedalsvegen 656. Alternatively, you can use a taxi from the bus stop if you prefer not to walk.

For a more direct route, you can also consider taking a taxi from Lillehammer directly to Helvete Potholes. This option can be more expensive, typically costing around 600-800 NOK depending on traffic and the time of day, but it will take you directly to the site without the hassle of transfers.
