From any location in Oppland, head towards Beitostølen. If you are starting from Lillehammer, take E6 north towards Otta, then switch to Fv51 towards Beitostølen. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach Beitostølen, continue on Fv51 for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs to 'Valdresflye' and follow them. Steinplassen is located near the viewpoint along Valdresflye, and is accessible via a small parking area. Parking is free.
