Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start by heading towards Rygge. From the center of Moss, take the E6 highway heading south. Continue on the E6 for about 10 kilometers and take the exit for Rygge (E18). Follow the signs for Rygge, and then take the first right onto Kureveien. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Kurefjorden nature reserve, which will be on your left. There is free parking available at the entrance to the reserve.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kurefjorden nature reserve using public transportation, take a train from Oslo or Moss to Rygge station. From Rygge station, catch bus number 10 that heads towards Kure. The bus will drop you off at a stop near Kureveien. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 1 kilometer) down Kureveien to reach the nature reserve entrance. Please check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary, and prepare for a small fare for the bus (approximately 50 NOK).

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can ride from Moss to Kurefjorden nature reserve. Start in the center of Moss and head towards Rygge on Kureveien, which is approximately 10 kilometers. The route is relatively flat and offers beautiful scenery. There is a designated bike path along parts of the road. Once you arrive at the nature reserve, you can lock your bike at the entrance.
