If you're driving to the Norwegian Petroleum Museum from central Stavanger, head southwest on Øvre Holmegate toward Hillevågveien. Continue straight onto Skagenkaien, following the road as it curves to the left. Keep going until you reach the intersection with Kjøpmannsgata, turn right, and then take a left onto Kjeringholmen. The museum will be on your right at Kjeringholmen 1a. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Norwegian Petroleum Museum using public transport, take bus line 1, 2, or 3 from Stavanger Bus Station, which is located at Jernbanegata 1. Board the bus and get off at the 'Vågen' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs for Kjeringholmen. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will see the museum on your right at Kjeringholmen 1a.
