Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Røros. Head west on Storgata toward Olav Tryggvasons gate. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction where you will turn right onto Kongens gate (Road 30). Follow Kongens gate for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Kongens Gruve (Kongens Mine) as you approach. The parking area is located near the entrance to the mine. Please note that there may be a small parking fee, so have some cash or a credit card ready.

For those using public transportation, start at the Røros bus station. Take the bus that heads towards Hitterdal or Bergstaden. Check the current schedule, as buses may run infrequently. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Kongens Gruve. From the bus stop, it is about a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the mine. Follow the signs for Kongens Gruve which will guide you along the walking path.
