If you are driving, start from the town of Finnsnes. Head west on E6 towards Silsand. Continue on E6 for approximately 40 km until you reach the exit for Road 86 towards Senjahopen. Take Road 86 and follow it for about 20 km. At the fork, take the right turn onto Fv86 and continue for another 10 km until you see signs for Gjeskeelvafossen. Turn left onto Gjeskeelva road and follow it to the parking area near the waterfall.

To reach Gjeskeelvafossen by public transport, start at the Finnsnes bus station. Take bus number 200 towards Senjahopen. The bus will take you along E6 and Fv86, passing through scenic areas. Get off at the stop for Kaldfarnes (Gjeskeelva). From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 km down Gjeskeelva road, following the signs leading to the waterfall. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for return trips.
