Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from either Gryllefjord or nearby towns such as Finnsnes or Silsand. From Finnsnes, take the E6 highway heading north for about 30 minutes. Then, turn onto the road towards Gryllefjord (Road 862). Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach Gryllefjord. Follow the signs towards Gryllefjord Viewpoint, which is located just a short drive from the main road. The viewpoint has a small parking area where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Finnsnes to Gryllefjord. Check local bus schedules for the most accurate times, as they may vary. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Gryllefjord, you will need to walk to the viewpoint. It is about a 15-minute hike from the bus stop. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the trail may be uneven.
Walking
If you are already in Gryllefjord, walking to the viewpoint is a great option. Starting from the center of Gryllefjord, head northwest towards the viewpoint. The trail is well-marked and takes about 15 minutes to reach. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and be prepared for a slight incline as you approach the viewpoint.
