Continue on the E6 for approximately 50 km until you reach the town of Silsand. Here, take the exit onto the FV86 road towards Fjordgård. Follow FV86 for about 30 km. You will eventually arrive at Fjordgård. The trailhead for Hesten is located near the village, and you can park your car at the designated parking area. Be sure to check for any parking fees, which may apply.

To reach Hesten using public transport, start at Finnsnes bus terminal. Take a bus towards Senja (check local schedules, as buses may not run frequently). The bus will take you towards Fjordgård.
