Car
From the main town of Tromsø, take E8 towards Nordkjosbotn. After about 40 km, turn onto E6 heading south. Continue for approximately 120 km until you reach the town of Finnsnes. At Finnsnes, take the exit onto FV86 towards Senja Island. Drive along FV86 for about 25 km until you reach the intersection with FV257. Turn right onto FV257, and continue for approximately 20 km. Follow the signs for Tranøyveien, and you will arrive at Norwegian Wild, located at Tranøyveien 2002, 9304 Vangsvik.
Public Transportation
From Tromsø, take a bus to Finnsnes. Buses are operated by Troms Fylkestrafikk and typically run several times a day, taking around 2 hours. From Finnsnes, you will need to catch a local bus (line 200) towards Vangsvik. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Ensure to check the local bus times as they may vary. Once you arrive at Vangsvik, Norwegian Wild is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Tranøyveien 2002.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Finnsnes to Norwegian Wild. This option is more expensive but provides convenience, especially if you are traveling in a group. The taxi ride will take about 20 minutes and can cost approximately 400-600 NOK depending on the time of day and taxi company. It’s advisable to pre-book your taxi if you are traveling during peak times.
