Walking
If you are starting from Stavanger city center, head towards the harbor area. Walk along the waterfront promenade, known as 'Vågen'. Continue walking past the Stavanger Cathedral and keep heading towards the end of the harbor until you reach 'Kjeringholmen'. The Norwegian Petroleum Museum is located at Kjeringholmen 1a, and it will be on your left side. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport - Bus
From the Stavanger Bus Station, take bus number 1 towards 'Madla'. Get off at the 'Kjeringholmen' stop. The museum is just a short walk from the bus stop, head towards Kjeringholmen 1a. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes, and the museum will be directly visible from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental stations in the city. Head towards the waterfront and follow the bike lanes along the promenade. Continue towards the harbor area, passing by the Stavanger Cathedral, and cycle until you reach Kjeringholmen. The museum is at 1a Kjeringholmen, and bike parking is available nearby. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes.
