  • Walking

    If you are in central Stavanger, start by heading south towards the waterfront. Walk down the main street, which is called 'Kongsgata'. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the harbor area. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the 'Vågen' area. From here, follow the signs to 'Stavanger Maritime Museum'. Once you reach the museum, you will see 'Muségata' to the east. Turn onto Muségata and walk for about 5 minutes. The Norwegian Children's Museum will be on your left at Muségata 16.

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch Bus Line 3 or 4 from the Stavanger bus station. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the most current times. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the 'Fjordgata' stop. From there, walk south on 'Fjordgata' until you reach 'Muségata'. Turn left onto Muségata and walk about 5 minutes. The Norwegian Children's Museum will be on your left at Muségata 16.

    For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations around Stavanger. Start by heading towards the waterfront and follow the bike paths along the harbor.
