If you are starting from the Stavanger Cathedral (Stavanger Domkirke), exit the cathedral and head south on Kongsgaardsgata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Skagenkaien. Turn left onto Skagenkaien, and you will find Sjøfartsmonumentet along the waterfront. It is approximately a 15-minute walk.

From the Stavanger Tourist Information Centre (Besøksentrum), head west on Rådhusgata towards Vågen. When you reach the waterfront, turn right and walk along the promenade. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Skagenkaien, where Sjøfartsmonumentet is located near the water.

If you are near the Stavanger Maritime Museum, exit the museum and head north on Øvre Holmegate. Take a left onto Skagenkaien and walk straight for about 5 minutes. Sjøfartsmonumentet will be on your right, overlooking the harbor.

Take bus number 1, 2, or 3 from the nearest bus stop (e.g., by the Stavanger Cathedral) towards the city center. Get off at the 'Skagenkaien' stop. From there, it's just a short walk (approximately 2 minutes) to Sjøfartsmonumentet. Head west on Skagenkaien, and you will find the monument near the waterfront.
