Walking
From the city center (Stavanger Torget), head southwest on Østervåg towards Hillevågsgata. Continue straight on Østervåg for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Hillevågsgata. Turn left onto Hillevågsgata and walk for approximately 400 meters. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the corner of Hillevågsgata and Henrik Ibsens gate, turn right onto Henrik Ibsens gate. The Stavanger Art Museum will be on your left, just a short walk ahead at Henrik Ibsens gate 55.
Public Transport - Bus
From the city center (Stavanger Torget), walk to the nearest bus stop called 'Stavanger Torget'. Take bus number 3 or 4 towards 'Sola'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Henrik Ibsens gate'. After exiting the bus, walk towards Henrik Ibsens gate and the Stavanger Art Museum will be on your right at Henrik Ibsens gate 55.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in the city center. Start from Stavanger Torget and head southwest towards Østervåg. Follow Østervåg and then Hillevågsgata, just as you would if walking. The route is approximately 2 km and will take about 10 minutes by bike. Once you reach Henrik Ibsens gate, the museum will be on your left at 55.
