If you are starting from the city center of Stavanger, head southwest on the main pedestrian street, Østervåg. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn left and follow the promenade along the harbor. You will pass by several cafes and shops. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Madlaveien. Turn right onto Madlaveien and continue walking. The Vigilant statue will be on your left at Madlaveien 95.
