Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Porsgrunn. Head east on Skomværgata towards Sjøgata, then turn left onto Sjøgata. Continue straight and follow the signs for E18 towards Oslo. After about 2 kilometers, take the exit onto E18 towards Oslo. Continue on E18 for approximately 20 kilometers. Take the exit towards Porsgrunn/Siljan, and follow the signs for Skomværgata. The Gea Norvegica Geopark is located at Skomværgata 14, 3921 Porsgrunn. There are parking facilities available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Gea Norvegica Geopark using public transportation, first make your way to the Porsgrunn bus station. From the station, you can take bus line 100 or 101 towards Skien. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Alight at the stop named 'Porsgrunn Sentrum'. From there, it's a short walk to Skomværgata. Head southeast on Sjøgata, then turn left onto Skomværgata. The Geopark is located at Skomværgata 14. A single bus ticket will cost around 40 NOK.
