Car
From any location in Telemark, head towards the town of Kragerø. Use the E18 highway and then switch to the E132 towards Kragerø. Once in Kragerø, follow the signs to the Kragerø ferry terminal. The ferry to Jomfruland departs frequently, and you can purchase tickets directly at the terminal. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes.
Public Transportation (Bus & Ferry)
If traveling by public transport, take a bus from your location in Telemark to Kragerø. Various bus companies operate in the region, so check the schedules for the nearest bus station. Once you arrive at Kragerø, walk to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Jomfruland. The ferry departs regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes.

The ferry to Jomfruland departs from Kragerø ferry terminal. Make sure to check the ferry schedule ahead of time, especially during off-peak seasons. The ticket costs approximately 70 NOK for adults and 35 NOK for children. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the archipelago, so be prepared for a scenic journey.
Walking/Biking
Once you arrive at Jomfruland, you can explore the national park by foot or by bike. There are designated paths and trails throughout the park.
