    If you are driving, start from the center of Tromsø. Head south on Storgata Street towards the university area. After about 2 kilometers, turn right onto Hans Nilsens vei. Follow this road as it winds uphill for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for the Universitet i Tromsø (University of Tromsø) - follow these signs. The Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden is located within the university grounds. Look for parking areas nearby.

    To reach the Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden by public transport, take bus number 20 from the Tromsø city center (Storgata). The bus stop is located just a few minutes' walk from the main square. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Universitetet' stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the garden. Head towards the university building, and follow the signs leading to the Botanic Garden, which is situated on the university premises.
