If you are driving from Trondheim, start by heading south on E6 towards Stjørdal. Continue on E6 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the exit for E39 towards Kristiansund. Merge onto E39 and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Take the exit for Rv 710 towards Leksvik and follow it for about 15 kilometers. When you reach the town of Opphaug, follow the signs for Borgveien. Turn onto Borgveien, and you will find Austråttborgen at Borgveien 6.
Public Transportation
To reach Austråttborgen using public transportation, take a bus from Trondheim to Opphaug. You can catch a bus to Opphaug from the Trondheim Bus Station (Busstasjonen). The journey takes around 1 hour. Upon arriving in Opphaug, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Austråttborgen located at Borgveien 6. Make sure to check the bus schedules beforehand, as they may vary.
Taxi
