Getting There

Walking
If you are in the city center, start at the main square, Torvet. From there, head towards the south on Kongens Gate. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Olav Tryggvasons Gate, where you will see the statue of Olav Tryggvason. Turn right on Olav Tryggvasons Gate, and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the end, turn left onto Kjøpmannsgata. Continue straight for a few blocks until you see a large park area called Bakklandet. Cross the bridge over the river, and you will see Nidaros Cathedral on your right, located at Kongsgårdsgata 2.

Public Transport
If you are closer to the railway station, take bus number 5 from the station towards Lade. Get off at the stop called 'Kongsgårdsgata'. From the bus stop, walk back a short distance on Kongsgårdsgata. Nidaros Cathedral will be on your left side.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center by heading to the riverfront. Follow the bike path along the Nidelva River towards the east. As you approach the center, look for signs directing you to 'Kongsgårdsgata'. Once you reach Kongsgårdsgata, park your bicycle at the designated bike racks and walk towards Nidaros Cathedral, which will be at the end of the street.
