If you are driving, start from the center of Viken and get onto the E18 highway towards Kongsberg. Follow E18 for approximately 50 kilometers. Take the exit toward Kongsberg (signs for Rv40). After exiting, continue on Rv40 until you reach Numedalsvegen. Turn onto Numedalsvegen and follow it for about 5 kilometers. The Footover bridge will be visible on your right side as you approach the town of Kongsberg. There is free parking available nearby.
