Getting There

• Driving

  If you're driving from downtown Columbus, get on I-71 S from N High St. Follow I-71 S for about 2 miles and take exit 108B for I-70 W toward Dayton. After about 1.5 miles, take exit 101A for US-33 W toward Jackson. Continue on US-33 W for approximately 1 mile, then take the exit for W Broad St. Turn left onto W Broad St, then take a right onto S Cypress Ave. Finally, turn left onto W Town St. The Columbus Historical Society will be on your right at 717 W Town St, Columbus, OH 43222. Parking is available on the street, so be prepared to pay any associated parking fees.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach the Columbus Historical Society via public transportation, locate the nearest COTA bus stop. Depending on your location in Central Ohio, you can take the #1 or #2 bus routes that service downtown Columbus. If you board the #1 bus, get off at the stop on W Broad St at S Cypress Ave. From there, walk one block south to W Town St, and the Columbus Historical Society will be on your left at 717 W Town St, Columbus, OH 43222. A single ride on COTA costs $2.00, and you can purchase tickets at the bus stop or on the bus.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you're arriving in Columbus via Amtrak, the closest train station is located at 111 E. Rich St. From the station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service for a quick trip to the Columbus Historical Society. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and you should expect to pay around $10-$15 for the fare. Alternatively, you can take a bus (COTA #5 or #6) from the station to downtown Columbus and transfer to the #1 or #2 route as described above.
