Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Cincinnati, head west on 5th Street toward the river. Continue until you reach Main Street, then turn left. Walk down Main Street until you reach Mehring Way, where you will turn right. Continue walking on Mehring Way for a few blocks, and you will see the Black Brigade of Cincinnati Monument at 8 W Mehring Way, located in a small memorial park along the riverfront.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From the downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop for the Metro bus service. You can take the Metro Bus Route 1 (the 'O' route) that heads toward the riverfront. Get off at the '6th & Main' stop. From there, walk west on 6th Street until you reach Main Street, then turn left. Follow Main Street until you get to Mehring Way and turn right. The Black Brigade of Cincinnati Monument will be on your left at 8 W Mehring Way.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike through Cincinnati's bike share program. Start at any bike share station downtown and head toward the riverfront. Follow the bike lanes heading toward Mehring Way. Once you reach Mehring Way, continue biking along the path, and you will find the Black Brigade of Cincinnati Monument located at 8 W Mehring Way.
