Start your journey from Downtown Cincinnati. Head to the Government Square transit center, where you can catch the Metro bus. Take the Route 1 bus towards 'Covington'. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the stop near 6th & Madison. From there, walk south on Madison Ave until you reach 7th St. Turn right and continue west until you reach the entrance of the Roebling Suspension Bridge. Cross the bridge into Covington, Kentucky. Once you are across, continue straight until you reach Montague Rd. Turn left onto Montague Rd and walk for about 10 minutes. Covington's Favorite Tree will be on your right at 1600 Montague Rd.
Walking
If you are near the riverfront in Cincinnati, you can take a scenic walk towards Covington. From the Great American Ball Park, head east along the riverfront towards the Roebling Suspension Bridge. Cross the bridge into Covington, Kentucky. Once you are across, turn left onto 7th St and continue until you reach Madison Ave. Turn right on Madison Ave and walk straight until you reach Montague Rd. Turn left onto Montague Rd and keep walking for about 10 minutes. Covington's Favorite Tree will be on your right at 1600 Montague Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, start from Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine. Head south on Elm St, then take a left on 12th St. Continue on 12th St until you reach the intersection with Vine St. Turn right on Vine St and cycle towards the river. Once you reach the riverfront, follow the bike path towards the Roebling Suspension Bridge. Cross the bridge into Covington. After crossing, turn left onto 7th St, then right on Madison Ave. Continue until you reach Montague Rd, then turn left onto Montague Rd and cycle for about 10 minutes until you reach Covington's Favorite Tree at 1600 Montague Rd.
